An article released on Friday by YouTubearticles in the blog The company acknowledged that there had been a big negative response to its updated validation process and said: "while improving the program, we have not done so at all."

In view of this, the company is updating its new plan, saying it will allow channels with validated logos to retain them. In addition, YouTube said it would reopen its applications for verification by the end of next month, which would enable qualified accounts to apply for certified badges.

The company points out that having more than 100,000 subscribers is still enough to qualify an account for validation. However, after applying for the account, YouTube will also investigate whether the account is a real account (which may need to be documented or other detailed information) and whether the account is complete.

YouTube's "complete" means that the channel must be public and must be completely supplemented with things such as instructions, icons and content, and that the channel must be valid on the platform. Assuming that the account meets these requirements, it will be validated. As a result of these latest changes, the new design of the validation badge has been postponed to 2020.
