The reshuffle of the rankings shows that U.S. brands are facing growing challenges as the U.S. trade war with China enters its second year, the report said.
The survey, sponsored by Platinum Hui Company of the United States, surveyed 13,500 Chinese consumers and asked them about their views on more than 250 brands in 27 categories in big cities in China. Respondents assessed the brand they had used or were considering using, and rated the relevance to consumer life based on the quality of innovation, practicality and reliability.
