On the afternoon of 21 September,HUAWEIChina's official microblog has released a video describing the world's first unmanned mine using 5G technology: Luanchuan Molybdenum Mine in Luoyang, Henan Province. There are not only the world's first 5G remote control excavator, but also 30 unmanned pure electric transport vehicles. The production efficiency has increased by about 30%.
As can be seen in the video, there are 5G base stations around the mine and 5G communication equipment in the driver's remote control room thousands of miles away. There are three screens in front of the driver, which show the different working angles of the excavator, and there is a way to play the game.
Earlier this month, Huawei announced that it had won more than 50 5G commercial contracts worldwide, and that it had shipped more than 200,000 5G base stations.
It is reported that 28 of Huawei's more than 50 5G commercial contracts come from Europe, 11 from the Middle East, 6 from Asia-Pacific, 4 from America and 1 from Africa.
