GM announced Wednesday that it planned to temporarily cut 1,300 workers at its assembly plant in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, as U.S. factories slowed down during the UAW strike.

GM Canada, the GM Canada, said it was cutting off the job because the factory's universal pickup was cut by half.

On the evening of September 15, GM workers announced a nationwide strike, forcing GM's U.S. factories to shut down and fail to provide the necessary components for production activities.
