Just the day before the conference, Samsung released its first 5G integrated processor, Exynos 980, built into the 8nm process, with two 2.2GHz Cortex-A77 cores and six 1.8GHz A55 cores. GPU supports up to 3360 × 1440 resolution screens for Mali-G76 MP5, as well as LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.1/eMMC 5.1 flash memory for NPU, storage. In terms of photography, it can process images taken at up to 108 million pixels.
Officials say that Exynos 980 supports NSA/SA dual-mode 5G, and Exynos 980 achieves ultra-high-speed data communication; supports data communication up to 2.55Gbps in 5G communication environment, i.e. in the frequency band below 6GHz; and achieves a maximum speed of 1.6Gbps in 4G communication environment.
In addition, the theme of the 2nd Samsung Future Technology Forum is "D.N.A. (Data Center. Network. AIoT)", focusing on the changes caused by new technologies such as AI and 5G in various application areas, and displaying parts and components solutions suitable for various applications.

Yang Jie, president of Samsung Electronics DS China, said that the theme of the forum was "D.N.A." The reason is that the purpose of the forum is to explore what changes new technologies such as AI and 5G have brought to the main application areas such as Data Center, Network and AIoT.
He also said that Samsung Future Technology Forum does not stop at exploring the latest technology trends, the ultimate goal is to find solutions for hardware companies.
