“Users can search for ‘My Travel’ in Google or visit the updated travel page to find places, events and popular places in the location.”
In September 2018, Google announced an update to its travel website, which included a breakdown of many features into a mobile travel app. Now that travels offline, Google’s focus will be on getting users back to travel pages and integrating more features into Google Maps and Navigation apps.
Soon, users can add and edit notes from Google Travel in the browser-side travel section to find and save attractions, flights and hotels.
In Google Maps, searching for a destination or finding a specific iconic location, a guide list, a popular event, or a web-red restaurant can all be done by swiping up on the app's Explore tab.
Clicking on the menu icon will give the user access to information about the "Your location (your location)". The Google Maps app will also include booking information based on the journey, which will be provided offline, so users do not need to download.
