A newly discovered bug was added to the list of known problems in Windows 10 1903: remote desktop connections can go wrong when connecting to devices using old graphics drivers.

according toError ReportingBlack screen is displayed when a user connects to a device with some old GPU drivers, including the Intel 4 series integrated GPU driver, via a remote desktop.

Microsoft said the vulnerability first appeared in the cumulative update KB4497935 (version number 18362.145) on May 29, 2019, and has affected Windows 10 1903 since then.

Microsoft has announced that it will resolve the problem in future updates. If you encounter this problem, you can currently try to update the GPU driver.

This error is one of the three bugs Microsoft announced last week. The other two, one causing the device to fail to start when using the Pre-Start Execution Environment (PXE), and the other, Nvidia Independent Graphics Processing Unit (dGPU), may sometimes disappear in Surface 2.

Before the problem is solved, the bug in Surface 2 will affect users running Nvidia dGPU to upgrade Windows 10 1903.
