Microsoft released Windows 10 updates to fix privacy settings (figure)

According to the updated official support documentation, some of the device's privacy settings and related information are not displayed correctly when setting up the Windows 10 system for the first time, including location, diagnostic data, and improved Inking and input privacy settings.

If your device is one of the devices affected by this issue, you will receive the following update update:

KB4499918 for Windows 10 version 1809, released on June 18.

KB4489220 for Windows 10 version 1803, released on June 18.

KB4489219 for Windows 10 version 1709, released on March 19.

AsMicrosoftAs described in another supporting document, this update is only available to users who have privacy issues in their Windows 10 initial setup. To find out if Microsoft has installed any such updates on your PC, follow these steps:

Open Settings > Windows Update.

Click the "Update History" link
