Tencent Technologies News, June 19, according to foreign media reports, Microsoft announced today that it will join the Hyperledger community and participate in open source block chain technology projects. Earlier, Facebook launched the encrypted currency Libra and electronic wallet Calibra for WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, as well as an independent Smartphone Application for other businesses.
Hyperledger members include many technology companies and financial institutions, such as Baidu, Citigroup, IBM, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, Salesforce and SAP. Hyperledger is overseen by the Linux Foundation and currently has more than 100 member organizations around the world.
This shows that large technology companies like Microsoft are also actively moving towards block-chain products. In May, Microsoft launched the Azure Blockchain Service, and in 2018 it launched the Block Chain Workbench and the Developer Toolkit.
A few days before the launch of Azure Blockchain Service, Amazon launched its Block Chain Management Service in late April, and Salesforce BlockChain service has been launched in recent weeks.
