A Microsoft spokesman said in a statement: "We have been evaluating and will continue to respond to the many commercial, technical and regulatory complexities that Huawei has recently been listed as an entity under the U.S. Department of Commerce's Export Regulations. As a result, we will restore the existing inventory of Huawei devices sold in Microsoft's online mall.
One word that deserves special attention here is "existing stock" -- when the media continue to ask Microsoft whether it plans to continue increasing stock and selling Huawei laptops, the spokesman again stressed: "Microsoft Online Mall is selling existing stock, which is in line with current U.S. regulations."
