Modernization of Core Infrastructure Adapting to Intel Architecture

  • The goal of ModernFW Initiative is to remove traditional BIOS code and improve scalability and security by designing modularity. Providing appropriate code to boot the operating system kernel helps reduce security risks and simplify user management.

  • Rust-vmm provides a set of universal virtual machine components developed jointly by Intel and Alibaba, Amazon, Google and Red Hat industry leaders, aiming to provide targeted virtual machine management programs for specific use scenarios. Intel has jointly launched a dedicated cloud virtual machine based on rust-vmm to provide a safer and more efficient container technology for cloud native environments.
