According to the latest news from OnLeaks, in 2019, the iPhone XR will use the same "bathroom hegemony" camera as the new iPhone XI (commonly known as the iPhone 11). OnLeaks has made rendering maps to show this new change, and given the accuracy of their iPad Pro rendering maps released last year, the information is credible.
It is said that the design of the 2019 iPhone XR is basically the same as that of last year. The main change is that the glass backplane has designed a large square bulge for the camera system, commonly known as the "Bath Bull". It has two vertical lenses. The LED flash is on the right side and there is a sound pick-up hole above the flash.
No changes will be made to the front of the device. The "Liu Hai Ping" is still used to accommodate the Face ID module components. According to OnLeaks, the display screen of the iPhone XR 2019 is 6.1 inches in size and has a resolution of 1,792 x 828 pixels.
This set of XR rendering maps for the iPhone seems to match the previously disclosed rendering maps for the iPhone 11, which was first provided by OnLeaks. The Japanese blog Macotakara later confirmed its credibility with its own supply chain sources. In OnLeaks'rendering of the iPhone 11, we can see that the back is a triangular array of cameras, with three lenses, a flash and a pickup hole on the raised square Bath Bull.
The current model of the iPhone XR seems to have achieved great success, and market intelligence shows that it dominates the smartphone market in the United States. Compared with the flagship iPhone XS, a variety of color choices and a significantly more affordable price mix seem to be more likely to stimulate the desire of older iPhone users to upgrade.
