The High Court had asked the government to ban users from downloading TikTok on the grounds that the application was dangerous for children. However, TikTok has said that more than 6 million videos have been deleted and complained about the official treatment of it.
This is not the only banned app in India. Earlier in March, India’s Rajkot police announced a ban on PUBG in public, saying the game would poison young people. And arrested 10 people.
However, in early April, India withdrew the ban. The Rajkot City Police announced that the ban was only implemented to prevent children or young students from distracting during the pre-holiday examination period.
