Apple's headset brand Beats today officially announced the launch of the new Powerbeats Pro wireless headset, which is a split-type stand-alone wireless headset like the AirPods, with a charging box and a hanging ear design. Of course, the most popular is the Beats Powerbeats Pro. Equipped with Apple's H1 chip after AirPods, it supports Siri activation via "嘿Siri" voice.
The Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless headset is now available on Apple's official website (including China). The first four colors are ivory, moss green, navy and black. The price is 1,888 yuan, which is slightly more expensive than the second generation AirPods.
Beats Powerbeats Pro promotes up to 9 hours of use and up to 24 hours of playback time when using the charging case. Adjustable anti-slip earhooks are better suited for outdoor and sporting scenes, and have an enhanced anti-sweat and water resistant design. Body size, Beats Powerbeats Pro is 23% smaller than Powerbeats 3 and 17% lighter.
The left and right earbuds of this headset are equipped with volume and track control buttons to adjust the music directly on the earbuds. There is also a button to listen to and reject calls and change the current track. Like AirPods, the autoplay/pause sensor detects if the earbuds are placed in the ear, and of course Siri can be used for various controls.
Powerbeats Pro comes with its own clamshell charging case that supports fast charging and can be played for 1.5 hours after 5 minutes of charging. With the H1 chip's Level 1 Bluetooth technology, the wireless connection has a wider coverage, less signal loss, and better call performance.
Although Beats Powerbeats Pro is on the shelves, it is still showing no delivery status and is expected to be officially launched until May of this year.
