After releasing the official version of iOS 12.2 on Monday, Apple subsequently released the latest version of the Mac operating system, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, which supports the Apple News+ subscription service announced at the press conference.The latest version of macOS Mojave includes new features such as Safari Autofill for MacBooks and Touch ID hardware, as well as the first support for Canadian Apple News English and French text.
In line with the latest Apple News+, macOS Mojave now integrates subscription services to access more than 300 magazine daily newspapers including The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times, and with macOS support, subscribers can be on iPhone, iPad and Cross-device synchronization is read on the Mac.
This update also adds Safari's automatic dark mode, but requires site compatibility support. Also improved Safari's push notification management and unsafe webpage warning mechanisms.
Other features of macOS 10.14.4 include:Support Apple's second generation AirPods;Map air quality index readings (US);Users can make real-time SMS calls from nearby iPhones (US, UK and India);
Improve the stability of USB audio devices;
As usual, the new release includes unspecified performance improvements, security enhancements, and bug fixes.
Apple held a special launch event in the early morning of March 26, and launched a series of new services at the conference. During the period, iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 were pushed and updated. Currently macOS 10.14.4 is available for download via the Mac App Store update.
