KB4467708 was released on Nov. 13 this year, and Microsoft acknowledged that it would have an impact after installation.WindowsMedia Player. Microsoft wrote on its support page: "When installing the update, users cannot use drag bars when playing specified files on Windows Media Player."
Microsoft has embarked on a solution and is offering fixes in future versions. The drag bar problem is clearly not the only problem with new updates. Some users may set default applications (such as Microsoft Notepad) for specific files. Microsoft said it hoped to release a solution to the problem by the end of November.
