Some media have found that Apple Music's latest beta version of Android can support the Android Auto platform, which means that the music service may soon be able to log into Google's in-vehicle infotainment system. According to AP reports, Android Android's latest 2.6.0 beta has added support for Android Auto for the first time.

To get the beta software, users can initiate an access request through Google Group and download it from the Play Store test page. After downloading, users will see Apple Music as a source for Android Auto.

Apple's move will give Android users a new option to experience Apple Music music services, not just the previous Aux external or Bluetooth. Many in-vehicle information systems support both CarPlay and Android Auto, which can really improve the user experience for Android users.
