A recent study by a security company found that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are more likely to fail than any other iPhone model. However, Samsung's failure rate is also the highest among all smartphone manufacturers.

According to Blancco's latest report released this month, the iPhone 6 has the highest failure rate of 22%, and the iPhone 6s has a failure rate of 16%, ranking second. Other active iPhone models have failure rates below 10%, and iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus are only 3%. The company noted that recent software updates have had a negative impact on the battery life of the iPhone 6.

However, Blancco said Samsung's overall failure rate was 27.4%, the highest among all Android vendors. This number is also much higher than 22% of the iPhone 6.

The report also found that Bluetooth is the most likely performance issue affecting iOS devices, followed by Wi-Fi, headsets and mobile data, while performance is the biggest problem with Android, followed by camera, microphone and battery charging.

In addition, Blancco found that 74.3% of iOS devices currently run iOS 11, and iOS 10 has a device installation rate of 17.7%. At the same time, more than 50% of Android users are still using Nougat, the operating system that began in 2016.
