These fossils are 270 thousand years earlier than the earliest evidence of human beings outside Africa, including bones and tools from the old city of Georgia, Georgia, in the United States.
The research was carried out by a Sino British joint research group, whose research findings were published in the journal Nature.
These stone products were found in a place called "Shang Cheng" on the northern plateau of China.
They are made up of different types of stone tools for various purposes. All these artifacts show signs of being used.
Most of the raw materials of the stone products are quartzite and quartzite, which may come from the hills of the Qinling Mountains mountains, 5 to 10 kilometers south of these stone products.
But it is not yet clear which kind of human close relatives have made them.
