According to official data, 22FDX process power consumption is reduced by 70% compared to 28nm HKMG, chip area is reduced by 20% compared to 28nm Bulk, photolithography layer is reduced by nearly 50% compared to FinFET process, chip cost is 20% lower than 16/14nm, and integrated With RF RF, power consumption is reduced by up to 50%.
ARM, Imagination, Synaptics, STMicroelectronics, Cisco, Freescale, Sony, Rockchip, etc. are all major customers of the GF 22FDX process.
GF also gave a smart watch case, the processor clocked at 1.5+GHz, the voltage is only 0.6V, with up to 16Mb SRAM, the working temperature is minus 25°C to 85°C, and it can last for 14-20 days.
