Ubuntu system developer Canonical recently announced the abandonment of the Unity interface since version 11.04, while stopping the release of the new mobile system.
Canonical has to adjust its own architecture in the face of full contraction and business shrinking of Unity strategy.
The latest news shows that Canonical will cut more than half of the Unity project developers. The best thing is to cut 30%, the worst case is cut 60%.
As planned, Ubuntu will begin to fully return to the GNOME interface in the 18.04 LTS version, while the team will focus on the cloud business that will generate revenue.
