NASA's initials are the first A to represent the aerospace, and a 10 year new vision plan is to show people the importance of this field for NASA. NASA hope that through a series of research and R & D investment, to find a new technology that can promote the progress of the field of commercial aviation.
The plan is the first contract in February by a team at Lockheed Martin, contract value of $20 million, a frame less noise supersonic aircraft design. In 17 months time, the team must complete the preliminary design of the bass detonation supersonic technology (QueSST).
